Our story
How it began
Sweet Crumb began in Ama’s home kitchen with a borrowed mixer and a simple idea: Accra deserved bread with a proper crust and pastry made with real butter.
Neighbours came first. Then their friends. Before long, Saturday pickups became a tiny shop full of chatter, warm loaves and the smell of caramelising sugar.
We have grown since then, but our rhythm is still small on purpose. Every loaf is shaped by hand. Every cake gets our full attention. And the first tray still goes into the oven before sunrise.
What matters here
Long fermentation and careful preparation make flavour that shortcuts cannot.
Food should feel abundant, welcoming and worth sharing with the whole table.
We keep learning, tasting and improving—even the things we bake every day.
